Daily Tarot Card

Just to help us learn Tarot better (or to help me since I really need it), I will post one card on this thread a day, in no particular order, with its meaning upright as well as upside down.

I will begin with the Major Arcana, then when those are done move on to the minor.


XVII The Stars: hope, optimism, far-sightedness. (Upside down: despair, pessimism, closed-mindedness)

IX The Hermit: inner search, solitude, spirituality (Upside-down: outward thinking, socialization, physicality)

So sorry guys! We just got our internet back today after a couple weeks without it. Someone cut the cable to our house and they had to replace it, which was not a picnic. I'll post a couple cards a day to catch up. I hated not being able to post!


0. The Fool: madness, non-conformism, lightheartedness (Upside-down: sanity, conformity, guilt)


VI The Lovers: test, choice, decision, love, relationships (Upside-down: fate, stepping back, loneliness, seclusion)

I The Magician: initiative, presence of mind, willpower (Upside-down: following example, vagueness, easily coerced)

XIII Death: transformation, change, end and beginning (Upside-down: stability, stasis, routine)

XVI The Tower: arrogance, narrow-mindedness, ruin (Upside-down; self-consciousness, tolerance, foundations)

XII The Hanged Man: sacrifice, suffering, test (Upside-down: domination, Schadenfreude, opting out)
